We use GitHub OAuth for authentication. Important: GH Tracker is not affiliated with or endorsed by GitHub. We only use GitHub's authentication service to verify your identity. When you sign in with GitHub, we collect:

  • Your GitHub username
  • Your email address
  • Your basic profile information (name, avatar)

2.2 GitHub Repository Data

To provide our analytics services, we access and process:

  • Pull request data from repositories you select
  • Repository metadata (names, descriptions, contributors)
  • Pull request comments, reviews, and activity
  • Commit information and diff data

Write Permissions: We request write permissions solely to post comments on pull requests when you use our automated feedback features. We do not modify your code or repository settings.

2.3 Slack Integration Data

If you connect Slack, we request permissions to post messages to channels you authorize. We only use these permissions to send notifications and analytics reports you configure.

2.4 Analytics Data

We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymized usage data, including page views, performance metrics, and general usage patterns. This helps us improve our service.

  • Post automated comments on pull requests (when authorized)

4. AI-Powered Analysis

Important: GH Tracker uses artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze pull requests and provide insights. We use APIs from OpenAI and Anthropic to process your pull request data, including code diffs, comments, and metadata.

Data Processing Guarantee: We exclusively use enterprise API services from OpenAI and Anthropic. These providers do not use data sent via their APIs to train their models. Your data is processed in real-time and is not retained by these AI providers for training purposes.

5. Information Sharing

We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • AI Processing: Pull request data is sent to OpenAI and Anthropic APIs for analysis (see Section 4)
  • Analytics: Anonymized usage data is processed by Vercel Analytics
  • User Authorization: When you explicitly authorize actions (e.g., posting to Slack channels)
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), secure authentication via Supabase, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

We delete the data when an account is deleted, we do not retain data
